Great Lakes Trout & Salmon Charter Fishing w/ video! - Sheboygan

The Wolf Pack was on the prowl this weekend. If you are on the big lake, raise us on the Marine Radio on channel 11, we'll let you know what's working!

Rainbow Trout, Chinook (King) and Coho Salmon are around the "wreck" to the North of the gap. Fish 70-110 f.o.w. using little red dodgers, silver spoons, and Assassins on slide divers -- 125 feet back. Our speed this morning was 1.9-2.3 g.p.s. speed. This was the speed that worked best for us! Good luck fishing, be safe on the water, and we'll see you out there!

Nice mixed bags of Great Lakes Salmon and Trout are being caught...plenty of action and plenty of fun!

28" Rainbow caught North of the wreck on a spoon 125' behind a slide diver.

23" Rainbow -- see the video of this Wolf Pack catch!

22" Great Lakes Rainbow Trout. This fish was a jumper!!!

Sheboygan Great Lakes Charter Fishing HEATS UP!

The fish are moving! Water temp dropped 5 degrees overnight, but we found the fish by the wreck to the north, 1.5 miles out of the river in 60-100 f.o.w. Kings (Chinook Salmon) and Rainbow Trout are very active so get out and enjoy! The Kings are eating "Assissin' Attractors" with any glow in the dark fly --purple glow screemer fly has been the best behind the 10 inch attractor for us. Also 13 inch dodgers with green flies 50 -70 feet down on down riggers have been good as well. On the the boards-- lots of "Jeff's Tackle" and "Screemer Spoons" with 1 ounce of weight, 100 feet back has been good for Rainbow Trout!
When the fish are on the move, the Wolf Pack is on the prowl! Let us guide you to some awesome Lake Michigan Rainbow Trout
Plenty of action for all. We're finding the fish and making friends. Book a trip and let us give you a great Lake Michigan Charter Fishing adventure!

This family from Texas and Arizona got together on a Wolf Pack Adventures Charter. This mixed bag was caught in 130 to 200 f.o.w. during the mid-day!

Repost: Charter Fishing Lake Michigan Port of Sheboygan

These fish were found in 80' to 110'. The fishing can be tough this time of year -- until you locate the schools of fish. The Wolf Pack has had some consistent mixed bag catches on Lake Michigan.

Great catches of Rainbow (in fact this Rainbow is a big as the King) are being found with some nice King Salmon mixed in. These Agricultural study students from Germany & Mexico joined the Klessig brothers from Cleveland, WI. Robert, Karl, and Karl's son Mathew on the waters of Lake Michigan. The crops are planted, the hay is in the barn and the milking is done -- so off with Wolf Pack Adventures they went!
The Klessig brothers know the enjoyment of a day on the water as this was passed on to them by their dad, Ed. So to give these students something to really remember they set out on a Lake Michigan charter.

In Germany this is a "Rich-mans" sport that the average person can not participate in. But here, in Sheboygan Wisconsin, this world class fishing will be something they'll remember for years to come! We're lucky that it is at our door-step.

Dig a worm, buy a license, take a Wolf Pack Adventures Charter, and the camaraderie & memories will last forever!

"Catch the Spirit" of this world class fishery...out of the Port of Sheboygan. Reel ....Reel.... Reel!

12th Annual Sheboygan County Outdoor Activity / Free Fishing Day - Sheboygan Falls Lagoon

Thank You to the Sheboygan County Conservation Association and Camp Y-Koda for an awe inspiring day!
Kyle was spending the day fishing with his sister, mom, and dad when he landed one of the nine hundred Rainbow Trout planted for the activity day!

The Wolf Pack brought out their gear to help educate tomorrow's fishermen n' women. Here is a display of the Wolf Packs Ice Fishing supplies and a sample of the Father's Day "Now-n-Then" gear.

When you combine the quality products of sponsors like Miesfeld's, Frabill, Torke, Lowrance, Jiffy, Custom Jigs & Spins, and the knowledge of the Wolf Pack team you get the best Wisconsin sporting has to offer!

Custom Jigs & Spins' provided jig boxes and a jig for all the kids that participated in hands-on casting at the Between the Lake Chapter of Muskies Inc. booth. Enclosed was a discount coupon for a fishing adventure with the Wolf Pack.

This annual event is popular enough to bring out the crowds. The events range from fishing, BB-gun range, DNR Laser range, DNR aquatic wildlife displays, canoeing, archery, food, and door-prizes.

The weather was perfect! Trout were stocked, bait / equipment was available for those that needed it, and all ages of families showed up to enjoy the day! Thanks to the many sponsors and volunteers, this event propagates the future of our sports heritage!

Generations - whether its geese and goslings by the pond side, or people, this is a Norman Rockwell print that defines our culture!

Paige picks out her own big lively fresh worm to catch a big one-- just like dad taught her.

See the little girl.... she takes a deep breathe in... stands on the balls of her feet.... she closes her eyes to concentrate... leans back into big sister... grabs the handle with her little fingers... aims.... and with all the might of an angel, casts towards that plastic fish... perfect!

Generations -- the passing of outdoor skills happens ever so subtly...youth teaching youth is a fruit of outdoor education.

Dads get the opportunity to catch a few a "big ones" in the Frabill big kahuna!

Green Bay Packers ran with the Wolf Pack!

The Wolf Pack had the honor of guiding some of the Green Bay Packers coaching staff on a successful Lake Michigan Charter for Trout and Salmon!

Green Bay Packers coaching staff Bob Sanders, James Campen, Eric Lewis, and Carl "Big Daddy" Hairston along with First Mate Greg and Captain Pat pose with a nice catch of King Salmon, Rainbow trout, and a few Lake trout. This was Wolf Pack's "Super Troll I" 2007!
Fish were caught in 130-220 f.o.w. using Dodger Flies on Dipsey Divers, regular spoons on lead core and on slide divers. Trolling speed 2.2 - 2.4 m.p.h. Best colors were Orange on the spoons and Mountain Dew Flashers on the dipseys.

Carl Hairston with his King Salmon! If you had to describe the way Great Lakes fish fight: a Chinook is a strong-side Linebacker, a Coho is a Defensive End, a Rainbow Trout is a Free Safety, and a Lake Trout is like a middle Linebacker!

Here Eric Lewis and Carl Hairston run a double! The day brought a couple doubles and even a triple header once. It was a perfect day to be fishing trout and salmon on Lake Michigan. The fishing is great right now out of the Port of Sheboygan.

James Campen and his Chinook Salmon! Shortly after this "snap" shot he pitched the option to the First Mate who spiked it into the cooler...a victory dance ensued!

A sincere Thank You to Bob, Carl, Eric, and James for running with the Wolf Pack!

Good luck fishing and when you are on the water feel free to call us on the marine radio or you can set up a trip with the Wolf Pack by calling 920-918-9653.

Sheboygan Great Lakes Charter Fishing!!!!

Captain Jerrad & Mike Scharl (one of the Pack's top mates) took their dads out to find the Kings on Lake Michigan over the Memorial Day week end -- and find them we did !!

Mike here uses the Frabill to haul a double header into the boat!

Roy gets in on the action to assist with the haul! Without a Frabill Net at the back of the boat, you won't get the "haul" on the boat. Try hefty doubles with other brands??? I don't think so...time and time again Frabill has proven reliable when it counts!

Roy (Wolf Pack Adventures) and Dave Scharl had a blast! The first volley of the day was a Quad! Some nice Kings are appearing out at 225 ft plus just south of the port of Sheboygan. There is also some real nice Rainbows mixed in for a great fun filled trip!

This time of year can be a challenge to find the fish, but not when you run with Wolf Pack Adventures! The Kings are looking great with good size and body weight.

Whether you're out for Salmon or some big Rainbows...the pack is always tracking them down so you can have your own haul!

Ride a Charter 2007 - Port of Sheboygan!

The Wolf Pack participated and would like to thank the Sheboygan Area Great Lakes Sportfisherman Club for sponsoring this great event! A great way to promote community awareness of the lake front and the great fishing we have here out of the Port of Sheboygan. At our doorsteps is one of the biggest Lakes of the Great Lakes chain, Lake Michigan!

A big Thanks to The Wharf Bait & Tackle for opening their doors and prepping some great vittles....none other than a sample of our Trout & Salmon from Lake Michigan.

The Longfellow Elementary School "Reel 'Em In Club" (which introduces fishing to students) were some of the participants who road with Captain Pat aboard The Wolf Pack to the harbor mouth and back to The Wharf.

Promoting the activities along our lake front and the various aspects of the charter boat world is a step in the right direction for our local youth!

Road America Tailgate Party -- Wolf Pack sets up for Kids!

Road America Tail gate Party during Tourism Week at Elkhart Lake's Road America Race Track. Wolf Pack set up a Hands-on kids fishing workshop to hook new families on a life-Long outdoor sport!

The Big Kahuna from Frabill brought attention from both young and old! This picture really gives you an idea of how big those Frabills get!

Youth were showed how to cast, retrieve, and land their "fish"!

A crowd of 3000 + jammed the walkways and participated in many activities Wolf Pack had over 150 youth try their hand at casting for the first time.

Inside the Educational trailer. Hand outs were provided for the participants to take home on the products used and info on Wolf Pack Adventures to participate in.

Equipment was all provided by Wolf Pack sponsors to make this a enjoyable experience. St. Croix Musky rods for the "big kids", Frabill jig sticks / landing nets, and Custom Jig & Spins' small yellow tackle boxes with a jig to take home!

Wolf Pack goes to Lake Erie for awesome Walleye fishing

Fish Report: trolled night crawler harness at 1.2-5 MPH using sea bags to slow down the Wolf Pack's Addiction. Fisherman Report: we drank lots of Torke' Coffee! (you gotta try some, it's got a great taste and welcoming aroma) Bait Box: Frabill Crawler Crib -- keeps the worms fed, happy , and healthy!

The Wolf Pack was off to it's annual fishing trip and what a catch! You can see they had the necessary supplies and a cooler full of Friday fish fry Walleye!
The Wolf Pack has more landing nets than a pro-tennis player has rackets. Every net is a Frabill... they have the perfect net for what ever the situation!

The Wolf Pack had to wait at home for the weather front to clear before going over to Lake Erie. They packed the St. Croix rods into their Frabill rod cases and headed East. The weather just right at Oak Harbor, just East of Toledo, Ohio.

The Addiction was right at home on Lake Erie, using the Nuke stack in the background as a marker to home in on.

Joined by friends, Dennis Knuth (recently retired), John & Paul Entinger (Paul joined his brother for his first walleye fishing trip and loved it), and future TV show host Jerry Luell -- who by the way, had the camera a-rolling. This is what Wolf Pack charter boat captains do on their days off!
