More Jan Pics 06

The fishing action remains good for panfish, as well as the Walleye.

BOW weekend

A special thank you to the B.O.W (becoming an outdoors woman) group for including us in their fishing adventure. Women from states near and far came ice fishing with the Wolf Pack. The Wolf Pack guided their fishing, as well as instructed and taught different fishing techniques and put on a small private seminar to describe all the equipment prior to the on ice fishing weekend.

Jan. Gills

The Bluegill action has remained good now into the 06 year. Still finding lots of fish in the weed pockets. The key is moving around, if the fish are not active, don't stay in the same hole all day.

Walleye fishing in 06 has been all it was last year and better. Find these fish in shallower water, 6-15 feet, near or in the weeds. These fish were taken on tip ups above the weeds.

Test

12-27-05
The panfish have been lighting up the Wolf Pack world this year. We are finding limits of Bluegills to satisify our hunger for pan fried fish. Look for slab gills deeper in large bodies of weeds. Get back into deep bays, and poke the weeds for small holes. These fish tend to keep to heavier cover-find them in the pockets, and DON’T BURN THE BUTTER!!

Keith shows off an early ice pike. This 33” Northern ate a sucker in the cabbage. Look for these fish in shallower water, 5-15 ft. near points, or in coves where ever you find green weeds.

12-17-05
The 05/06 ice fishing season is off to a powerful start. Dec has proved to again be a dynamite year for Walleyes. Joe, Calvin, Greg, and Mike show off their limit of Walleyes on their first trip out for the year. Looks like it will be another good year! Give the Wolf Pack a call for your next Wisconsin guided fishing trip.
