Ice People: Wisconsin Gator Hunting

Some beautiful game fish have been showing themselves the past few weekends! Get in on some of this action before the gamefish season closes in early March.
Here is another pike! This fish measured out at 31 inches!
Along with the pike, the crappie fishing has been hot! These guys are ready to have a fish fry party.

Family fishing is the best! This father/son combination dueled it out on the ice to get a nice meal of crappies!
Back to more pike! This fish measured out at 33.5 inches!
With the winter starting the fade, the pike are putting on the feed bag for a spawning season that happens right after ice out! Say it with me "TIP UPPP!!!!"

The pike have had the Frabill flags flying!
They can't all be big ones but they are all fun no matter the size!
A few nice largemouth bass have also been showing their faces on the tip ups.
There is still plenty of safe fishable ice and in the Wolf Pack system we have the equipment to transport even if the ice isn't strong enough for vehicles. Our ATV pulling transport sleds with bench seats allows us to stay on the bite until the ice lets loose. Lets get out on the ice while the action could possibly get even better than it already is!

Crappie Connection

The crappie action has been nothing short of phenomenal. Customers got this catch along with many others that went back down the hole!
Some nice pike have also shown their faces! This fish measured out at 34 inches!!
This fat largemouth bass measured out at 18 inches!
The one man shelters are great and keep us mobile on the ice to stay on top of the fish and once you get on the fish, we pack them in with snow to keep you extra toasty inside the Frabill.

Another batch of delicious panfish waiting to be cleaned and hit the frying pan! These fish are in abundance so lets throw a few meals in your freezer!
Here is another nice pike that got the flag flying, the customer running, and the camera making more memories!

The ice continues to remain strong as well as the fishing! Lets get out there while the weather allows us!

Another straightline combo fish!
Weekends are starting to fill up for the remainder of the ice season but there is still room on weekends and plenty of weekday opportunities! Lets get on the ice now that it is here and safe!!

Fall Opportunities in Abundance

We're going to start this report off with thanking the group from Irby and The American Club in Kohler, Wi! The next group of pictures is from a big corporate outing that we were so lucky to be a part of! We offered the river fishing for spawning salmon and the Lake Michigan salmon fishing! We have the supply to handle groups of large sizes and the opportunity for success is endless! Here is a pair of male chinook salmon caught by a pair of Irby clients!
Another client with a big male king! This one took the prize for the largest king the first day! It measured out at 38.5 inches! Congrats!!
This client fell just short in the contest! This female king had the gut but not the length!
On to the boats! This is a group catch from the first day! These troopers weathered some waves and caught some nice king salmon!
With the fall showing a few signs of cold weather, this chance of watching the sunrise on the lake is dwindling. The boats will be out of the water in two weeks! Thanks to all our clients who made 2011 another summer to remember with many great memories!
Here is a group on the second day of the Irby event! The lake was much nicer and so was the participation from the fish! The groups hauled in a whopping 12-15 salmon per boat!
Another Irby client with a nice silver king salmon!
This is a great client that comes a few times of year with his family! They got in on the salmon action as well!
There is plenty of duck hunting pictures to come along with some more fall salmon run pictures! These pictures need your faces, so let's plan an adventure!! It's also not too early to start thinking ice fishing. Thanks again to our 2011 charter fishing customers as it was another great season! We look forward to seeing you on another adventure!

The fall salmon are in the rivers in full force!
Big mature kings like this are being taken on light spinning tackle.
With 15 pairs of waders and many rods, Wolf Pack can spread groups all over!!
Here is another fall king that fell victim to a custom "chuckeye" spinner.
Here is another group shot going to attack the river and land some of these big salmon!

Fishing remains good out on the big pond! Will be a week or two yet until the big ones are invading the rivers!
Great numbers of grilling fish like these will be caught all the way until we pull the boat out! You got a month left to get out there and fill your freezer for the winter!!
