The open water season has come to a close and ended with some fabulous muskie fishing. The ice is now here and early ice can be the best time to catch all species of fish. Wolf Pack is once again set up with the best product on the market from frabill, jiffy, lowrance, northland tackle, and many more! Don't wait the time is NOW!!
The waterfowl season also ended with a big load of smoking barrels!

Here is a limit of mallards and canvasbacks. Needless to say Taz was very busy once again!
Another limit of ducks along with two bonus snow geese.
This is Wolf Pack's newest rig. A Phowler boat powered by a Pro Drive motor! Once again you get a top of the line set up when running with the pack.

Quackers and Honkers!

Waterfowl season is in full swing. The only way to make it even better is consistent cold weather to bring down some more northern birds. There is enough birds around now to shoot a box of shells on a daily basis!
The ducks are the eye catcher of this picture but without the rig, you would never get to where the ducks are. Wolf Pack is now running a new Phowler boat powered by a Pro Drive mud motor! Just being in a rig like this is an adventure you don't want to miss.
The boat is set up for lots of shooting room. Even enough room to make an omelet for every morning hunt!
More crops are being taken off fields and now along with geese, there is a chance for some mallard shooting also.
Another mixed bag of ducks!
Here is a hen black duck that was found flying with a pair of mallards.
The perfect situation in a duck boat. A harvested bird, a cup of hot Torke coffee, and a journal to document a story for each hunt!
Lots of birds have yet to hit the area. Wolf Pack has two duck boats and can get a hold of more if you have a bigger group. Also has enough equipment for bigger groups to field hunt. Call Pat at 920-918-9653 to get some shooting and excellent table fare!

Ducks, Geese, and Salmon Galore!!!

The Geese have really started to flock up around Sheboygan county where the Wolf Pack does its guiding. With the wet fall it will only get better as more crops start to be taken down! This here is another one of the many limits of geese being shot each day.
With the cool northern air the duck hunting has started to heat up as well. Most the duck hunts are taking place on the local marshes with a big variety of types of ducks being fooled by the massive Wolf Pack decoy spread.
Nothing like having a full lanyard of ducks!! Best part about doing it with the Wolf Pack is you don't have to dirty a knife as that is part of your adventure.
If this doesn't get the heart beating, you shouldn't call yourself a hunter. This picture is self-explanatory.
The rivers are still loaded with mature salmon. This should only continue for a few more weeks so don't miss out!!
This client had an absolute field day with big mature river salmon. He landed a total of 16 salmon and lost another 10. The next few pictures are some of the bigger salmon he got in the low 20 pound range.

Consider yourself a true outdoorsman?? How bout catching a few of these big salmon and unloading your gun on ducks and geese in the same day. Only with the Wolf Pack can you go on an adventure like this!

Wolf Pack Fall Adventures

With the recent change in weather patterns, the elements have turned the fall salmon fishing in a complete 180. River levels are still low but are full of mature king salmon for their spawning run. There is also a few bonus brown trout and steelhead looking to bury themselves in a Frabill.
Cooler air temps and heavy north winds have sent a lot of geese on their fall migration south. Sheboygan county fields are starting to fill up and the birds are a lot more cooperative. This was a limit hunt for three people!
The rivers are about to the point where you can walk across their backs and not get your feet wet. That makes for a lot of drag screaming and acrobatic salmon trying to spit the hook and continue their spawning practice.
Wolf Pack's newest goose hunter was able to bag his first goose. The birds are really starting to cup their wings and land right in your face! Starting this Saturday in Sheboygan county is the duck opener. Try a morning hunt on a marsh for ducks and an afternoon of field goose hunting or any other adventure you would like. Any outdoor adventure can be arranged via the Wolf Pack, so let us know what you want and we can make it happen!
All is takes is one call to Pat at 920-918-9653

Spawning Salmon and Soaring Geese

Its okay if you missed early season goose hunting as it was a difficult year with the weather patterns. Do not miss out on late season as the first frost is in the forecast in the near future. Come shoot your two birds a day with the help of the Wolf Pack's scouting and decoy spread.
September can also be a very productive time for the salmon fishing. Whether you like battling on a boat or in a river, both techniques are offered this time of the year. Here is a limit of the younger 2 and 3 year old salmon caught offshore.
As fall approaches and the salmon fully mature for their fall spawning run, their mouths turn very hard. The catch that was hung shows just a fraction of the action that we had this morning.
Another nice rack of big, mature king salmon. Although no coho salmon are shown in this picture, they are also migrating to the harbor area to stage before their spawning run. The fish are full of energy and like to give you a full fledged workout.
There is about a month left of the fishing on Lake Michigan with some good fishing expected. The fall river fishing is just starting to get underway so if that trips your trigger, watch our weather for the next big rain as it will fill the rivers with these monsters! This saturday starts the late season goose hunting which is looking to be another awesome year and goes into December. Still many options available for a Wolf Pack adventure, so choose your type or mix and match us for a package deal.

Big kings in 2009

The salmon havn't even fully matured and we are seeing kings in the upper 20 pound range. This year has showed a side of bigger salmon and there is still a month and a half left to battle one of these on a boat.
These two gentleman from sparta had a fast action morning getting their limit in under 3 hours.
With abnormally cool water temperatures the fish have been roaming the shallow water. Along with the big salmon in the shallows you have an opportunity at a big brown trout.
Fishing is a great family event and makes for good bonding. Get your kids out on the water before they get old and are too cool for mom and dad. A lifelong experience with the help of a Wolf Pack Adventure.
Morning fishing has been productive. You know what they say "the early bird gets the worm" well salmon fishing we say the early fisherman fills the cooler!
These guys came up from Missouri to try their luck at king salmon. The fishing will only continue to be good through the rest of the season and there is still plenty of openings so don't miss out.
As the fall approaches Wisconsin, that just starts a few more seasons for the Wolf Pack. Goose Hunters our early season is from Sept. 1-15 which you can shoot 5 birds a day. We have all the blinds, decoys, and hot torke coffee. Fall run salmon anglers your time is fast approaching too once we hit the later part of september. With the wolf pack its not just a trip, it's an adventure!!

Salmon size on the rise!!

Even though the quantity of fish in an average cooler in previous years is down, the size of the fish is on the up swing. There has been a good number of king salmon that are tipping the scales over 20lbs with the abundance of baitfish in the area. This big boy weighed 24lbs.
The 2009 year of water conditions have been awesome, allowing us to fish shallow water and give you the clients a longer fishing trip. Pictured here is a catch of 5 mature chinook salmon and a 16lb brown trout.
The baitfish are plentiful but are small in size. Best baits for these fish have been standard size spoons and jplugs in the number 3 size.
These two guys had some first time luck in salmon fishing. There is still some mixed bags coming in but as always this time of the year the king salmon are the main catch.
Heavy coolers!! Wolf Pack is now starting to get their plan ready to fish Sheboygan's tournament the second weekend of August known as the Coho Derby! Good luck Guys.
As the west winds continue and the month of August approaches, fishing will only get better. There is still openings for these reel screaming salmon so don't miss out!
Lake Michigan fishing is a great family bonding event. Here is a group of three generations that had a blast catching some fish! Now there is a whole dinner of fish to go along with the fish stories to be told to the rest of the family!
We all love summer but its time to start planning your fall adventures. Duck and goose hunting??? Muskie fishing?? Fall run salmon?? With Wolf Pack the outdoor opportunities are endless, so check out what interests you or just try something new!

Mixed Bags Making Big Smiles

Nothing like getting a cooler full with multiple species! There has been many close calls for the Lake Michigan Grand Slam but has yet to be hit out of the park. The catch below shows a mixed catch of kings, rainbows, and one coho salmon!
Fish On!!! With the cooler water temperatures still in the area, the fish have been putting up quite a fight.
Here is a client with a nice sized lake trout! Lakers are the only native fish of Lake Michigan and they sure are a pretty fish.
Who's king?? The king salmon are filling the coolers out of the port of sheboygan! Many of thefish are in the mid teens range in pounds and make the spool sing. It's like having a rock concert in the palm of your hands/
Another beautiful morning on the shores on Lake Michigan! Come get a view all for yourself!
Little guys and big guys, they all need to eat! The fish have been in a variety of sizes and species which always keeps you guessing what your catching until it gets Frabilized!!

Sheboygan Salmon and Trout

The king salmon have started to show up in full swing. With the abundance of baitfish this year, the lake has already given up a few very nice sized fish.

This navy bound kid got a good pre boot camp workout! Salmon have been hitting a variety of flasher/fly combos in white and green.

Happy Father's Day! This family decided to celebrate their dad aboard the Wolf Pack. Fishing, fun, and most importantly family bonding made this a day to remember.

June is a great month for mixed bags. The water temps have coolers being filled with every type of trout and salmon that the lake offers.

This fish was a dandy and showed itself by skying out of the water multiple times then continuing to pull out 700 feet of line before hitting the Frabill. The fish was 38inches long and weighed in at 23.02lbs. There are some bigger ones out there so come get your name a top the 2009 Wolf Pack Big Fish Board.
